The Alliance for Georgia Libraries is a coalition of Georgia residents, librarians, and library board members who believe in libraries' vital role in our communities. Our mission is to advocate for, support, and celebrate public libraries, school libraries, and academic libraries across the state.

As concerned citizens, we are united in our belief in the transformative power of libraries. We are your neighbors, friends, and fellow citizens, working to ensure that every Georgian- regardless of age, background, identity, or location -  has access to the vast resources, services, and opportunities that libraries provide.

The Alliance for Georgia Libraries works to highlight the incredible impact of libraries and library professionals across Georgia. Our focus is on advocacy, awareness, and building new support. We mobilize this support through the legislative process and local activism.
